That's a good question. Here's a simple answer:

Specialized Knowledge

I can't perform surgery, or fix your car, or design a conveyor system for your factory. That takes specialized knowledge. But I can help you with your real estate needs because I possess the necessary specialized knowledge to do that. Most homeowners do not.

Today's real estate market is so much more complex than when I started in the business in 1977. Some agents have kept up; others have not. Those of us who have continue to serve our clients with better information and technology. 'Cutting edge' comes to mind.
