The Par-3 8th Hole, 161 Yards
This JN6 GBC version of Rifle River Country Club is converted from the fantasy design for Jack Nicklaus 5 I released in 1998. Located near Lupton, Michigan, in the Rifle River State Recreation Area (by special gubernatorial permission), the course is carved out of the state forest in and around the recreation area, through which the Rifle River meanders.

The 5th hole offers two approaches to the green: double fairways separated by the Rifle River.

The par-3 16th. This tee shot can be terrifying - which is exactly the emotion the designer was looking for.

After a short drive on the 18th, the golfer is faced with the decision of how
much angle to cut off on the approach. The green is reachable in 2 for some
players on this great par 5 finishing hole.
