Dean Kalbleisch, Dryden '73, keeps making the news. He was at the Super Bowl with his daughter Danielle, traveling all the way from Alaska to get there. Here's how that happened according to Dean himself: I've been putting
my name into the hat with the NFL for several years now for one pair of
the 500 pair of tickets they make available for the general public to
'purchase' from them direct at face value. It's a random drawing that
you have to send a registered letter to the NFL requesting your name to
be put in for the drawing. I've cut and pasted the NFL website that tells
you about. http://www.nfl.com/help/faq. Being at the game was awesome. Especially, since it turned out to be such a great game. The winning touchdown was caught down below our end of the field. Although I was bummed that it cost the Cardinals the game, it still was a great catch. You should of seen the look on all of the Steelers fans faces, which was 98% of the fans where we were sitting, when the Cardinals took the lead earlier. I'd do it again, it was a blast and one of those once in a lifetime things to do. |
